This piece is an illustrated cover for Charles Perrault’s classic tale, Caperucita Roja (Little Red Riding Hood), created as part of a class assignment.

In this artwork, I chose to depict the iconic moment where Little Red Riding Hood walks innocently through the dark woods, unaware of the lurking danger. The forest’s shadowy atmosphere contrasts with the vibrant red of her cape, emphasizing her vulnerability. The wolf, hidden among the trees, adds tension to the scene with its menacing expression and glowing eyes, symbolizing the ever-present threat in her journey.

The objective of this project was to craft a captivating book cover that stands out, creating an impactful first impression for potential readers. By carefully analyzing the story’s characters and themes, developing multiple sketches, and refining the final design, the illustration aims to spark curiosity and draw viewers into this timeless tale.

The design of this poster was inspired by the connection between creativity and relaxation, which often sparks inspiration. It features Louie, a cat peacefully lounging on a float in the middle of a calm lake, listening to music. The aquatic environment, decorated with floating flowers, represents a serene and imaginative space where ideas can flow freely.

The use of vibrant colors and the tranquil atmosphere evoke the world of ideas and creativity—key elements of the Animayo spirit. The addition of a floating radio next to the cat emphasizes the role of music as a catalyst for creativity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in an audiovisual world of inspiration.

This poster was created as a personal exercise for the «Animayo 2024» contest, with the intention of exploring new artistic styles and techniques. Although the contest had already ended, the creative process turned out to be a unique opportunity to express a playful and personal vision of the festival.
